I just came home from work about an hour ago. After some of the mush that I call a brain went to work, I came to the conclusion that my employer, Woolworths Ltd., (A.K.A Woolworths, Safeway (VIC Only), Woolies, Dick Smith, BIGW etc.), is better than Peter’s employer, Coles Group Ltd. (Coles, Kmart, Target, Officeworks etc.).

Now, Peter will probably kill me for saying this, but it’s just plain OBVIOUS that Safeway is better than Coles. We earn more (in terms on sales), we have more employers and get paid well. Now, Peter works his ass off (about 20 or more hours a week - and he is in Year 11!!), but Peter, just accept that Safeway is better than Coles. You know it’s true! But anyway, in my situation, you sometimes might get some crappy supervisors, but it’s a great place to work. We also have the MOST registers open during our BUSIEST times!!

Also, their slogan sucks too!! Something better everyday?!? What the HELL is that? “Our food is off today, so it’ll be more off tomorrow”? I believe that The Fresh Food People works best - “Freshest Products served by the freshest people”. HA

And, according to my best mate Jackie,

“In conclusion.. dont get a job in retail all together.. it screws you over”
